Bass Guitar Lessons

Jason Robins is a recording and performing artist from Westchester who specializes in upright and electric bass. As an alum of Lagond Music School, Jason began touring at the age of 16 with the Lagond All-Star Band, and was awarded a presidential scholarship by the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music for Studio Jazz. 

As a member of the Hudson Valley and NYC musical communities, Jason has recorded and performed with a number of rising acts such as Smooch, Noshows, and Anthony Gach & Harmonic Aggression. He’s played Westchester’s premiere music festivals such as Pleasantville Music Festival and has packed historic NYC clubs like The Bitter End, Rockwood, Mercury Lounge and Bowery Electric. He is a fixture in the Westchester jam scene as a host and house bassist. 

Jason currently tours nationwide with NY-based rock artist Alex Cano, where he has been able to immerse himself in the styles of Americana and Roots Rock. Since he joined the outfit in 2022, they have opened for the Plain White Tees, headlined festivals such as Nashkill Festival and Montauk Music Festival, and played numerous showcases at SXSW.
