Chris Anderson has spent more than 40 years playing trumpet in NYC, touring and recording. He began his career in the world of Latin Music playing with many greats including Ray Barretto, Celia Cruz and Hector Lavoe. He has played lead trumpet for Illinois Jacquet, Ben E. King, New York Rock and Soul Review with Donald Fagen, The Allman Brothers (10 years as horn arranger and lead trumpet for The Beacon Theater residency),Jon Bon Jovi, Michael Bolton, Bruce Springsteen and countless others, famous and infamous. He was an original band member and horn arranger for the hit Off Broadway show Beehive and has been on Broadway in Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk, Swing, and Movin’ Out. He is a member of S’Killit led by the incredible Rusty Cloud. He is the co-founder of New York Horns with John Isley. They have 2 CDs available, Tunnel Vision 1999 and New York Horns 2014.

Since 1998 he has been playing, arranging horn parts and recording with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes (more fun than anybody deserves).
