Passing of a long time Lagond Family Member and Supporter, Kathleen Delano

We are saddened to announce the passing of a long time Lagond Family Member and Supporter, Kathleen Delano. Kathleen passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017, after a short illness. Kathleen was the grandmother of Lagond Alum, James Delano – Class of ’09. She was a devoted music fan and attended many Lagond performances. She gave generously not only to our Annual Fund Drive for over 10 years, but donated the two-tier stage in The Haven for the many musicians who have rehearsed and performed in that room to work on their craft and fulfill their musical dreams.

Kathleen was a special woman who always had a warm smile and a big heart. We will miss her dearly.  May she rest in peace.

wonder of what might be possible.”

– Dr. Sherry Fraser, Provost, Concordia College

“The heart of jazz and soul are found in the melodic vocals of
